Project Title: The Affiliated Network for Social Accountability- East Asia and the Pacific Program (ANSA-EAP) of the Ateneo School of Government

I. Project Background

Brief Description of the Program Assigned to:

The Affiliated Network for Social Accountability- East Asia and the Pacific (ANSA-EAP) is a joint program of the Ateneo School of Government (ASoG) and the World Bank. It will provide country and multi-country initiatives, training and capacity-building, and research and knowledge management on social accountability.

Objective

ANSA-EAP?s development objective is to improve governance in East Asia and the Pacific countries by strengthening (i) partnership and (ii) monitoring capacities of civil society networks and government through the adoption and implementation of social accountability methods in key sectors of (i) education, (ii) health, (iii) public infrastructure, and (iv) environment.

II. The project needs the following personnel with the required qualifications:

Executive Director - oversees the ANSA-EAP Secretariat and ensures the implementation of all deliverables as stipulated in the DGF Window 2 Grant Agreement. He/She is directly accountable to the ASoG Dean.
? PhD graduate
? Must have extensive experience in managing projects
? Must have good management and communication skills
? Must be willing to travel within and outside the assigned area
? Must be able to work with minimum supervision
? Must be patient, flexible and responsible

Networking Specialist - designs and oversees the implementation of the Networking Program of the ANSA-EAP. He/She is directly accountable to the ANSA-EAP Executive Director.
? College Graduate? Must have extensive experience in networking activities in various projects
? Must have experience in coordinating networks in social accountability initiatives
? Must have good management and communication skills
? Must be patient, flexible and responsible
? Must be willing to travel within and outside the assigned area
? Must be able to work with minimum supervision

Development Specialist - oversees the plan and implementation of the Development Program of the ANSA-EAP. She/He is directly accountable to the ASoG Project Director.
? College Graduate
? Must have extensive experience in fund raising activities for various projects
? Must have experience in writing grant proposals and organizing donor forums
? Must have good management and communication skills
? Must be patient, flexible and responsible
? Must be willing to travel within and outside the assigned area
? Must be able to work with minimum supervision

Research Specialist - oversees the plan and implementation of the Research Program of ANSA-EAP. She/He is directly accountable to the ASoG Executive Director.
? MA/Msc Graduate
? Must have extensive experience in communication related activities in various projects
? Must have experience in research, particularly in field research
? Must have good management and communication skills
? Must be patient, flexible and responsible
? Must be willing to travel within and outside the assigned area
? Must be able to work with minimum supervision

Communications Specialist - oversees the plan and implementation of the Communications Program of ANSA-EAP. She/He is directly accountable to the ASoG Project Director
? College Graduate
? Must have extensive experience in communication related activities in various projects
? Must have good management and communication skills
? Must be patient, flexible and responsible
? Must be willing to travel within and outside the assigned area
? Must be able to work with minimum supervision

C. Ateneo CORD Opening

The Ateneo Center for Organization Research and Development (Ateneo CORD) is in need of at least four (4) field researchers for a project on Cyber Education.
This is a project-based employment.

Candidates should have excellent research skills and would be willing travel. Having a Psychology or Education degree is most welcome, although not a must.
